Usually, nutritionist professionals provide their clients with a custom list of ingredients and steps to follow according to their particular needs. The experience is mostly the same, with a dull information sheet. How can I change that experience to one that sets his office apart?
The Challenge
One of the biggest challenges was finding information about the brand. Since the client already liked his logo, I worked on the color palette and the brand's interaction with the end user. I provided several ideas for a solution. Although my branding proposal succeeded, the client changed the color palette due to personal preference. Aside from the lack of information, the other challenge was the limited budget.
The goal was to develop a tool that could help streamline Dr. Santana's workflow while improving his client's experience. The main product to be developed was a comprehensive step-by-step customizable guide containing the nutritional plan, tips and tricks, and motivational quotes from the doctor.
The solution
Initially, I wanted to create a responsive website for the doctor's personal use that could later be exported as an image or PDF and sent to Dr. Santana's clients. This website would have a better chance of scalability and updates. After some research, conducting a survey, drawing from personal experience, and constant consultation with my client, I presented my proposal considering the time and budget restrictions.
I had to adapt the core concept and create the next best thing, editable PDFs for Mobile and Tablet/ Desktop that mainly lived in the digital realm but would be capable of printing, if needed.
