In a team of four, my job was to create all the deliverable material for the event, including the invitation, booklet, ID cards, Certificates, etc. Other materials for the event, like animations, VFX, and video content, were in charge of other team members.
The Challenge
Pressed for Time. The time frame to deliver a full development event was around one month.
Branding on the Go. At the time, we were also developing all the branding for the DISS department. This included a distinct Branding treatment for the event. What helped streamline the process was that I already had experience creating artwork virtually from scratch for another event. As a team, we had to develop some Branding for the event.
Sell Concept. The other big challenge worth mentioning is that we, as a team, had to convince the stakeholders of the concept we were proposing simultaneously.
Discovery  >  Research  >  Inspiration  >  Design  >  Delivery
The company provided resources that helped inspire the branding. I quickly created the imagery for the event using stock vector resources and a company presentation with information about the service department, participants, and hierarchy structure.
The Goal. Create a branding that makes sense. Because the Service Department, at the time, didn't have a distinct image.
Solution. Focus on the game rather than the established corporate image of the company. Different colors represent three teams.
Deliverables
Booklet. Contains instructions for the game, the schedule, and general information about the event.
Banner. It also served as an invitation. Because the convention was an internal event, the company wanted to keep it simple, so the design for the banner remained the same for the invitations to the event.
Certificate. ID Cards. Puzzle. Scoreboard. PPT Presentation Template.
